Royersford author encourages kids to 'cut the cheese,' raise funds for charities

Royersford children's book author Kevin Rebbie recently released the endearing children's book/modern fairy tale "Mr. Stinkas and The Little Cheese Shop," (Not So Publishing, June 2011, juvenile fiction, $23.95, 63 pp., paperback, includes audio CD), illustrated by Laura Bluett.

"Mr. Stinkas" is the story of a man and and his loyal friend Old Bleu, who "make their dreams come true simply by 'Cutting the cheese.'"

"You and your family will laugh as the story unfolds and 'sounds' are made," Rebbie said.

Learn more about the book and the author on the Mr Stinkas website. Of course, in this modern age, Mr Stinkas has his own Facebook page, which you can like by clicking here.

Rebbie is donating 50 cents from the sale of every copy to each of three area charities: The Philadelphia Veteran's Multi-Service and Education Center, The Children's Miracle Network of Philadelphia, and The B+ Foundation of Delaware.

"I didn't want to wait to give back," Rebbie said. 'I want to break the rule sand give back from the first book sold. Every book sold generates a 50-cent donation to each of the three charities."

Rebbie said his goal is to sell 3 million copies, which would earn each of the three charities $1.5 million to each.

The book is available for purchase on BBOTW.com or by calling 1-877-BUY-BOOK.

May want to update this review after Kevin Rebbie was sentenced to 20 years for child pornography and admitting to child molestation.
