New Philly eBook publisher launches two titles

I recently received a press release announcing a new e-publishing company in Philadelphia, Christopher Williams Books.

The independent publishing company was started by Philadelphia-area entrepreneurs Aidan Ryan and Raymond Rose.

Christopher Williams Books publishes their titles in the eBook format on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

According to their release, their "mission is to find new and exciting writers who have 'fallen through the cracks' in the current publishing scene and introduce them to interested readers."

They are currently working on digital comic books as well as enhanced and app-based books and plan to "unveil a dynamic niche social network for booklovers" next year.

Their first title, "The Fire Inside," combines the superhero comic book and the hardboiled crime novel. A second title, "Better Together," a contemporary literature take on fatherhood, is available now. Both books were written by company co-founder Raymond Rose.

To learn more about the new publisher and its books, visit http://www.cwbooks.net/, which also features their blog.

“Where the books are the heart of our website, the blog is our voice," said company co-founder Aidan Ryan. We like to write about eReader reviews, eBooks we’re reading, and whatever else we think would be interesting to readers. We want our readers to get to know who we are.”

I recently discovered that CW Books is actually based in Pottstown. The press release, which boasted a Philadelphia dateline, threw me off. I hope to feature them in future blogs.

Welcome, Mr. Rose!
