First of all, what the hell is this book? --The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation, Volume II: The Kingdom on the Waves?

Second of all, I haven't even heard of half these books, much less read them.

Third of all, if you're going to post Cheap Trick lyrics on my blog, you should include an mpeg of you singing them, otherwise, I must refuse to accept them.

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle: A Novel is a GREAT book. I don't read much in the way of fiction these days, but this is a standout. One of the rare books that kept me up WAY past my bedtime. Ostensibly a story about a family that raises a (fictional) breed of dogs. . . it is truly a book about the power of friendship. Enjoy it! (Steve Nelson)
